Description
A T-shaped anvil for jewellery making, especially for rings. Made from carbon steel axle, forged and machined to shape and heat treated. The foot is made from mild steel and arc welded to place.
Usually anvils like this are made from mild steel and thus are not suitable for hard materials (steel etc.) I also dislike handheld ring triblets and wanted a firmly mounted one so the only option was to make it by myself. And while I was at it I wanted also a surface where some hammering can take place.

If you take commissions, one day, I'm going to ask you for a ring triblet harder than usual ones. I already have a regular one, but it's not hard enough to make forged silver ring. I can always borrow those at school that are already have several hammer mark. But I'd like one that won't mark so easily.
