Arrowhead earrings

An arrowhead shaped earring that I made on comission. The customer has 4mm widenings in her ears so she required that the earrings should fit there... and it turned out to be enormous challenge to find a way to hang the earrings so that it would a) fit into the ear b) be easy and reliable to lock on place c) look good d) be easy enough to fabricate. After few weeks of trying, testing and failing I decided to create a lock that does not look so good but fulfills other requirements.

The arrow part would fit barely into a matchbox so they're quite a big earrings (not too big for my customer of course).

Stainless steel and TIG-welding. The plugs are factory-made.
